Painted this in the Mississippi National River and Recreation area. Had the opportunity to talk with the park rangers on several opportunities while I was on site. Learned some new facts about the area. Painted this over 3 days as the weather was very hot and humid. I learned the backs of my knees can sweat! The area is so peaceful and beautiful. Birds, butterflies, blooming bee balm and the accompanying buzz of bees.
