This painting is the result of an outing I had with 3 other painters. We all painted the same landscape scene.
At the end of the session we lined them all up and compared our results. It was so much fun to see how each
of us interpreted the same scene so differently. Plein Aire painting is a relatively new endeavor for me. It can
be a humbling experience to say the least. Speed, quick decision-making and exact color mixing are essential.
I will be a life long student of plein aire.
